About Us

Kami Soul Healing is dedicated to promoting overall wellness for individuals on a soul journey or those simply seeking relaxation. Rooted in the principles of the Japanese Shinto tradition, "Kami" refers to the spirits or phenomena that embody the essence of nature and the universe. At Kami Soul Healing, we believe in the interconnectedness of all living beings and the importance of nurturing the spirit to achieve harmony and balance.

Katrina Surdi, founder of Kami Soul Healing, has turned her personal experiences with grief and trauma into a powerful journey of healing.

As Katrina deepened her practice through yoga, sound healing, hypnotherapy and meditation, she found these tools provided profound self-discovery rather than just recovery. This realization fueled her passion for helping others navigate their healing journeys. At Kami Soul Healing, she creates a compassionate space for individuals to explore these practices. By sharing the methods that aided her own healing, Katrina empowers others to embrace their wellness paths.

Kami Soul Healing emphasizes that true restoration begins with connecting to oneself and the energy of the universe. We offer various services to encourage personal exploration, as each session is customized to support the well-being of our clients by integrating mind, body, and spirit.

What is sound healing?

Sound healing is a holistic practice that utilizes the power of sound to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. One of the most popular tools used in sound healing is the sound bowl, an instrument that produces a rich, resonant tone when struck or played.

Sound bowls, often made of metal or crystal, are designed to create vibrations that can have a profound effect on the body and mind. When played, the sound waves produced by the bowls can help to induce a state of deep relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and even alleviate physical pain.

The healing properties of sound bowls are believed to be rooted in their ability to synchronize the body's natural rhythms and frequencies. As the sound waves penetrate the body, they can help to balance the chakras, or energy centers, and promote a sense of overall well-being.

During a sound healing session, participants may lie or sit comfortably while the practitioner plays the sound bowls around and on the body.

By harnessing the power of sound, sound healing with bowls can be a transformative experience, offering a natural and holistic approach to personal growth, stress management, and overall health and wellness.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan. It involves the practitioner using their hands to channel universal life force energy into the recipient's body, with the goal of promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and supporting the body's natural healing processes.

During a Reiki session, the client will either sit or lay down. The practitioner's hands are placed on or above specific areas of the recipient's body, allowing the energy to flow and address any imbalances or blockages.

The practice is based on the belief that we all have an innate life force energy, and when this energy is disrupted, it can lead to physical, emotional, or spiritual imbalances. Reiki aims to restore this natural flow of energy, helping the recipient achieve a state of deep relaxation and well-being..
